My brand new Equinox had a gap between the lower body trim and the body. Also, had highway speeds of 60mph, a loud wind like noise was heard overhead. The service reps listened to my concerns and removed and replaced with new parts both the trim and the crossbars on the roof rack. Results: Car looks great and windy noise is gone. The woman in your SERVICE Dept. actually was GREAT! However, your CALL CENTER appt. personnel did NOT read the RECALL notice when I first made my appt. I was coming off of NIGHT shift and was told by the CALL CENTER gal it would take only a short time to do "A COMPUTER ADJ." and I could WAIT for the car. An hour later, I was informed "My vehicle was INSPECTED and a part was being ORDERED." I needed to wait then for the part to come in and bring it back in. Then I rec'd NO CALL BACK when part came in! Then I made the appt and brought the car in for the RECALL part and was told I could wait so my wife who had followed me out there left and after an HR the dealership lady told me it "WAS GOING TO TAKE LONGER THAN FIRST THOUGHT... so a shuttle took me home. My car was DONE at 3:45PM being told the CALL CENTER had OVERBOOKED the SERVICE crew. I just do NOT understand the communication snafu's! Funny thing is, I had just the day before taken my work car to Vandavere for plugs and tranny fluid change. I had actually gotten my appt. day mixed up and do you know... they still got me in and did the work in a timely manner. I just do NOT have that with POB service. And that scares me. I have both a 2015 SS and a 2017 Impala that will be requiring regular mnt. but the thought of going to POB for anything further... well maybe I should try Serpentini. Your gal in house was GREAT! Your tech did a GREAT job... but that warm and cozy feeling about Customer Care and RESPECTFUL of MY TIME is lacking!
